With over 2.8 million inhabitants, Chicago is the third largest city in the United States. Located in northeastern Illinois at the southwestern tip of Lake Michigan, the city boasts of having one of the world's tallest and most dense skylines, excellent architecture, and various attractions. Founded in 1833, Chicago is now one of America's centers for business and finance and is said to have the most balanced economy in the United States due to its high level of diversification.

Millions of tourists flock to Chicago every year to enjoy the various events and conventions the city hosts (it is the United States' third largest convention destination) as well as its permanent attractions. Foodie or not, you can't miss the city's annual Taste of Chicago which gives you first hand access to all of Chicago's finest culinary treats. The Taste of Chicago starts from the final week of June and culminates during the Fourth of July weekend.
